"Let's cook up some sweet magic~!"

Majo Chocola is a young patisserie who runs a sweets house within the Witch World.

Bio[]

MajoChocola is the current owner of "Cocoa House", a bakery passed through her family that previously specialized in bringing human-based goods that were not popular in the witch world of the past. She's become known for her occasional eccentricities but her dedication is limitless.

Appearance[]

Chocola has fair skin and feminine tea-rose eyes. Her long, chocolate-brown hair is normally worn up in a pair of thin, curled twin-tails decorated with pudding ornaments and various sweets. She wears a large strawberry hair clip by her fluffy, angular bangs, and her loosely curled forelocks reach her shoulders. Her hair is normally worn loose for bed, or pulled up for swimming.

Normally, Chocola wears a tea-rose maid uniform inspired dress with scalloped detail. The top resembles a bodice and she has a short white apron with pale brown lining and a stitched heart design to accent her choker and the ribbon on her top. Her Mary-Jane shoes are worn with white stockings, and she wears white gloves with black wrist ribbons.

Personality[]

Chocola is a bright and perky witch who naturally gets along with others and is good at socialization- most-likely a byproduct of coming from a big family. She's friendly and very sweet, to the point that some have a hard time believing she is a full-blooded witch. But at times it comes out, such as the fact that she will request favors for helping out Apprentice, usually in the form of lending a hand at the shop. But she remains fair and will gladly treat them afterwards.

She can be air-headed at times, the type of girl to go at her own pace or becoming distracted, even during a chat with someone else or when she feels sudden inspiration. She likes teasing those she considers herself close to, or just people who act smug or vain and annoy her. Her occasional eccentric side can make her act impulsively.

Witch[]

Chocola is a full-blooded witch with a strawberry magic sphere. She can use magic normally, but because of her hands-on approach to baking, she doesn't use it for everything. She views magic as an "assistant" if she really needs it. When she gets some spare time she can be found joyriding on her broom, and when it comes to using magic her spells usually involve food or baked goods in some shape or form. For example:

  • Forming pudding, gelatin or cake to provide a soft landing.
  • Sticky items like syrup as a make-shift rope or to attach things together.
  • Building objects with stack-able things like sugar cubes, or building a wall with a giant graham cracker or cookie.
  • Summoning gummy bears and gingerbread men for extra-assistance.

Her yousei is Colala, who shares her tea-rose color scheme and has short, ringlet twin-tails. Colala is helpful and sweet like her owner, but she's just as silly at times.

Past[]

Chocola's inspiration to become a Pattisier came after meeting a young wizard back when she was little. He ran a crepe shop in the human world but often paid her parents a visit. Through him, she learned many things and eventually after showing her parents how well she could do, they started to let her help out.

As Chocola was the youngest out of her siblings she did not like knowing she would be receiving the shop last. Unfortunately, her dream was cut-short when the human and wizard territory drama began and they were forced to sell the shop unable to properly run it anymore. Her parents fled for the human world hoping to start anew, but Chocola and her sisters remained in order to continue their studies as growing witches. When Chocola was old enough and was able to save up the funds, she bought the shop back for her parents, but they were happy where they were, and with her sisters not wanting the job themselves, she happily became its new owner.

Family[]

Vanil: Chocola's mother, a beautiful witch with long white hair and pale indigo eyes. An aspiring picture book author as a teenager who met a wizard studying to become a chef in the human world. They began a relationship and were eventually married. Currently lives in the human world, where she has since released her first story.

Coffre: A knight in shining armor among the wizards, Coffre dreams of the day when humans, wizards and witches can reunite peacefully. He met Vanil after protecting her from a big, grouchy plant she accidentally woke up. He runs the shop they own in the human world and is its chef. Chocola inherited her looks from him.

Mint: The eldest sister of the family and botanist who owns a floral boutique with Purrin, their youngest sister. She inherited their mothers appearance, but her eyes are matcha-green. The romantic type who often daydreams and desperately wants to be a damsel in distress saved by her own Prince, just like their mom. She gains new crushes easily and comes off as fickle as a result, and because she doesn't seem to worry over anything, it can be hard to take her seriously. She adores her sisters.

Chiffon: Chocola's twin sister, the main difference being that her hair is very pale-colored and she has her mothers eyes. She has a cherry pin/crystal ball in place of Chocola's strawberry. Chiffon works with her and usually dons a white and baby blue variant of her sisters uniform. She enjoys painting and tea fortune telling.

Purrin: The youngest daughter of the family who was born following their parents move to the human world, so she's the one who often travels between the two places. She resembles a child of eight years old and her appearance is a combination of both parents. She has caramel-colored hair and her eyes are periwinkle. She's a bit of a tomboy who would rather be out having fun than studying flowers or baking like her sisters; she excels at flying and physical activities, unlike her sisters, who were better at magic and studying.

Trivia[]

  • She is currently 150 years old.
  • Its theorized the pudding "accessories" she wears are real/edible. She can be found taking spoonfuls from them and eating them, then they magically grow back. It's become known as one of the witch world mysteries.
  • Her first spell as a baby was making a tray of gingerbread men dance.
  • Lately, Chocola has been trying to sneakily add vegetables into her recipes to make them healthier for young children. She'll usually have Purrin taste-test them afterwards.
  • While she loves her family equally, she is especially attached to her twin sister.
